Only Seven Weeks Left...

Only 7 weeks left in this school year! Yes, can you
believe it?! Even though the school year is coming to an end, the
school and PTSA are still very busy with business. Please pay extra
attention to this e-mail and all future e-mails, as they will hold
important information.
This week is TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK, May 5-9. Please take
the time to show your appreciation to all of our awesome teachers.
They ALL work hard for ALL of our children. Without them, where
would many of our kids be? Thank you to our Casimir Teachers!
The PTSA is asking for donations throughout the week in
celebration of Teacher Appreciation week. We still need breakfast
(Wednesday) and potluck dishes (Friday). Please contact Catherine
Tanski if you can help at tanski4@sbcglobal.net.
STAR testing at Casimir is scheduled for May 14th and
15th. Please help your child to prepare for the testing by
providing a good breakfast and encouraging plenty of sleep. For
more information on the STAR testing please contact Jason

Why is my child acting that way? Why can't they just...? Am I the
only parent going through this with my middle school aged child?
*** "Parenting the Middle School-aged Child" - Presented by
Rocky Wilson, Ph.D. - Casimir is hosting a parent night next
Tuesday, May 13th from 6:00-7:30pm. in the cafeteria.
Childcare and refreshments will be provided. Don't kid yourself, WE

May 12th -16th, Blue Ribbon Week, in honor of all of
our Law Enforcement Officers. Special thank you to Officer Ed
Galang, Casimir's School Resource Officer! Thank you for being our
#1 Go-to Guy!
Friday, May 23rd - Last opportunity of this school year to
experience Casimir's Operation Observation. Come have lunch
with your child, believe it or not, they will enjoy and appreciate
it.
Monday, May 26th - NO SCHOOL Memorial Day
Tuesday, June 10th - Casimir's Family Picnic, hosted by the
7th Grade Class. More info to come...
Monday, June 16th - 8th Grade Picnic 
Wednesday, June
18th - 8th Grade Dance
Thursday, June 19th - 8th Grade Promotion 
June 19th - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
