Math
1. Text: Mathematics Concepts and Skills
2. We will be covering the California Standards with emphasis in fractions, decimals, percents, geometry & problem solving.
3. Grades will be divided the following way:
Homework 20%
Class work 20%
Tests, quizzes and projects 60%
All work must be shown in order to receive credit-I do not accept answers without the work shown.
4. Your planner is the most important tool in this class. It must be filled in each day. Homework will be assigned Monday-Thursday. You will receive 4 points for each completed assignment.
Students must keep the homework log updated and turn it in when called for to receive credit.
5. Class work will be collected and kept with your homework in your classroom folder. It should include warm-up exercises, notes, and practice problems.
6. Tests or quizzes are given every few weeks with the opportunity to use class notes on quizzes some of the time.
