Greetings! You have found yourself on Ms. Nunes's web site. I began teaching at Casimir in1998. As the head of the Physical Education department I focus on creating a safe environment for students to be physically active while learning to be socially appropriate .The California Physical Education State Content Standards is my guiding document for instruction and it is implemented through a variety of activities, many of which can be found in the SPARKS curricula.
As a Health instructor The California Health Education State Content Standards are my guiding document. Material is accessed through classroom discussion, reading, individual and group projects to apply practical healthful habits.
Whether in the health classroom or outdoors I focus student success through participation and good attitudes.
